Our Story
The Mug Community Coffee Shop was started by Michael & Crystal in July 2019 with a vision to bring people from all backgrounds together under one roof.
With our motto "Bringing Unity to The Community, One Mug at a Time" we feel we have achieved that goal. The fullness of our identity came to light during the pandemic in 2020, when our community came together and chose to help The Mug keep our doors open.
That is why you will hear us say that our definition of Community is "A Common Place of Unity".
Michael & Crystal have built a great team around them that has the same mentality of putting smiles on the faces of all who come into The Mug and ensuring they are all treated like family.
The Third Place
The Third place is the idea of somewhere between home and work that you feel connected and welcome in.
We strive to be that place to many of our patrons, which is why we offer such amazing events such as Worship night, Sober Nights, and other ideas to help people feel welcome and that they belong.
We are more than just coffee, we are a community.
